Youth In Music Events
"I can remember first singing on stage at age 3, then I played clarinet in school from 5th grade to senior year, and was in marching band and concert orchestra. I sang in school chorus, and competed in solo school vocal competitions. While in school, at age 14, I started singing with professional groups. By the age of 16, I sat behind my first sound board - and where my love of music turned into an opportunity to develop a career.
Music was there for me at times when life wasn't easy. Music was an outlet that offered hope and something to focus on when I was young, and music positively shaped my life.
It seems music chose me at a young age. I have been honored to be mentored by some amazing people and now it is my honor - my duty - to give back." ~ Sheri

The Rustic Cow Foundation is a not-for-profit organization set up for the purpose of providing free or low-cost music and performance-art related shows and educational events to inspire the youth in downtown Newport, TN and surrounding Cocke County in Appalachian East Tennessee.
